- Checking
Account. All banks
offer FREE
on-line banking
services. If you are with a Credit Union, you will need to inquire of
this service.
- Apply
with your bank On-Line or, go to your local branch and let
them
help
you set it up. It is
not difficult.
- Set up your monthly rent payment
as a "recurring
payment"... This is really easy! Pick a date after you
know your balance is sufficient for the automated payment... For
example, if your paycheck is deposited on the last day of the month,
allow 2-banking days before your rental payment is debited and mailed
(by your bank).
- This
On-line payment will be
in form of a
paper check that is debited from
your checking account balance and mailed by your bank to the rental
office. Hey! The Bank pays for the check, the envelope AND the
postage!! You don't!!!
- Set
up the recurring payment to be in the amount of your contract rent.
It
must be payable to: VERNON

Considerations: Arrange for your Checking Account to have

amount of Over-Draft protection. Consider setting up other recurring
monthly payments which will give you the same benefits.

This is giving a creditor or service provider the ability to draft your
account making payments for you. This
service is available for
other types of business', but not VFMR as yet... VFMR uses Trust Accounts which are
carefully monitored for deposits since the deposits belong to Owners
and Tenants... !
