It's time to let your Bank pay! Yes, this service costs your Bank... NOT YOU!

Another way of saying it, "If you have a Checking Account, your Bank has Online Banking. If you are not using the Online Banking (Hey, IT'S FREE!!) you are "missing the boat"!

Reasons to use your Bank's Online Checking Services
1. "OMG, I'm almost late!" (Now, drop everything and run down to the Rental Office before "it's" late!).
2. How much is a Late Fee? It's $25 or 5% of your monthly base rental... Whichever is the greater. "OUCH!"  VFMR prefers no one be "late". Letting your Bank pay from your  checking account each month... same date to arrive before late... No chance of a Late Fee! "Yeah!!"
3. Prefer to mail it each month? Think again! That piece of mail takes your time, takes your active mental scheduling "I can't forget" mentality, takes over half-a-dollar out of your pocket each payment (not to mention the wear and tear on you, takes wear and gas on your ride and takes a bit of "you" better spent on something else... Oh! And don't be fouled! Has the US Postal Service ever lost a piece of mail?
4. "It's NOT MY FAULT!"
Your "mailed" payment arrives late? Can you blame it on the Mailman? "Nope." LATE FEE="Cha-Ching" (right out of your pocket!!).
5. Prefer to "walk it through the door"? Hey, that's cool! We really like having you come to the office monthly... But, if you prefer to save your time, your money and not take the risk of being late, we will certainly understand! "Really!"

It is recommended you consider recurring on-line banking tools that will accomplish paying monthly rental without your having to do all of the physical things required of manual payment.
Here's is what you do:
  • Checking Account. All banks offer FREE on-line banking services. If you are with a Credit Union, you will need to inquire of this service.
  • Apply with your bank On-Line or, go to your local branch and let them help you set it up. It is not difficult.
  • Set up your monthly rent payment as a "recurring payment"... This is really easy! Pick a date after you know your balance is sufficient for the automated payment... For example, if your paycheck is deposited on the last day of the month, allow 2-banking days before your rental payment is debited and mailed (by your bank).
  • This On-line payment will be in form of a paper check that is debited from your checking account balance and mailed by your bank to the rental office. Hey! The Bank pays for the check, the envelope AND the postage!! You don't!!!
  • Set up the recurring payment to be in the amount of your contract rent. It must be payable to: VERNON FOSTER MANAGEMENT & RENTALS LLC.... if there is not enough room in PAY TO THE ORDER OF field, just put in as much as possible.  The address you will use is: 2803 W Vernon Av, Ste D, Kinston NC 28504-3399.
  • In the FOR field (Reference or Note), BE SURE to put your LAST NAME + RENTAL ADDRESS in this blank, so that we can properly credit your rental payment.
  • You will save: TIME, YOUR MONEY -and- Your rental payment will never be late!
  • Other Considerations: Arrange for your Checking Account to have a small amount of Over-Draft protection. Consider setting up other recurring monthly payments which will give you the same benefits.
  • ACH. This is giving a creditor or service provider the ability to draft your account making payments for you. This service is available for other types of business', but not VFMR as yet... VFMR uses Trust Accounts which are carefully monitored for deposits since the deposits belong to Owners and Tenants... !
  • Not sure how to do this? First-time? CALL our Staff and VFMR will gladly assist you!
